You have lost my business for ever…

You have lost my business for ever ....this includes your other travel company,,,Expedia ...been doing business with you for 20+years....but your handling of pandemic credits or refunds on flight has been pathetic at best ....even the hotel we booked refunded the purchase with courtesy and promptness. Months later still dealing with your inept and disrespectful employees. Just do the correct thing and stop trying to screw people.

Their customer service and policies do not connect. Travelocity is a terrible company to work with they have no human contact and their automated system doesn't work. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRAVELOCITY.

DON’T BOOK WITH ANY THIRD PARTY

I booked a hotel with booking protection (because of covid) for a weekend trip in March, however I injured myself so I called the hotel to reschedule the dates for April. The hotel said they couldn’t change the dates so I had to call Travelocity. Travelocity puts me on hold while they call the hotel to see if my new dates are available to rebook. Travelocity gets back on the line with me and says I’ve been rebooked for April with just a $5 difference. Awesome, I thanked them and hung up. April comes around and I’m at the hotel trying to check in. The hotel concierge says my dates still say March in their system. I’m tired, I just want to relax and unload my stuff then head out to dinner. But it took me an hour through chatting with Travelocity (because they never pick up their phone or call you back) before I could officially check in to the hotel. It seems Travelocity forgot to send my updated booking to the hotel, and had only ASKED the hotel about availability for my new dates. Travelocity kept denying any error on their end and right when they offered me only a $25 refund/credit, the person ends the chat before I can respond. ABSOLUTELY NEVER USING THEM EVET AGAIN.

Worst experience I've ever had

Planned a trip and made reservation months ahead of, had to cancel and Travelocity said no refund but the hotel had a no cancellation fee. I'm being ripped of by Travelocity for $700+. I've talked to multiple agent and got no response from most of was told hotel did not do refunds.

I won't use them anymore - Bad customer service

In the past, I used Travelocity exclusively. Now, 2021, it takes literally hours to reach support. I asked to get a refund for a flight that was canceled by the airlines, the airline agreed to the refund, but Travelocity asked me to call back over and over in order to process it. I spent hours on the phone. They are now owned by Expedia, a site I was never partial to. Perhaps that is the problem.

Travelocity

I booked a flight to Bozeman through Travelocity with a layover in Chicago. About two weeks later they canceled that flight. I was rebooked to Philadelphia. That's it! No connection to Bozeman. I called Travelocity three times and sat on hold for over an hour each time. I opted to have a call back from them only to get no call. The WORST service ever. Don't know how I'm going to get to Bizeman now. Or get my money back.

Don’t waste you time

I read multiple reviews with the same situation as me so that part is on me. But unless you have your strict itinerary and expect literally everything to go smoothly(which you can never anticipate) it is extremely hard to get in touch with Travelocity, in fact you can’t get in touch with them at all. I tried to call at least 3 times and you never get a live person, and they don’t call you back either (IF the dumb automated system doesn’t freeze before you can give a call back number) so unless you expect nothing to come up emergency wise on your trip do not go through Travelocity. Try calling the customer service number of a different place to ensure you can get in touch with a live person for emergencies or mistakes before booking.

SCAM!

Do NOT book with this company, it's a scam! I've purchased a flights from them with the flight protection to find out that not only I'm not going to receive a refund ( $2700) but they are not going to issue a credit either! I can't fly because of the Coronavirus restrictions! This is after being on hold for 4 - 7 hours every day, using their messenger on FB and virtual assistant! They stole $2700, they are CRIMINALS!

Customer Service

Have booked many trips with Travelocity and everyone seems to have some issue. Most recently, trip to Cancun. Travel included roudtrip transportation from Airport to Hotel. The company used was Smile & Go. Airport to Hotel was great. Then day before our return, an email was sent stating our return trip had been canceled and to contact Travelocity for refund. Had I not been checking email I would not have realized we didn't have transportation and to book another company requires 24 hours advance notice. So we ended up with a great Cab driver so all worked out.
Until you have to contact Travelocity - It's been a week and still have not been able to reach anyone. Chat is automated and every time a phone call turns into 20 + minutes and then give up. Just not a good experience and seems like Smile and Go should be communicating to Travelocity the service wasn't provided and an automatic Credit sent. I don't anticipate I'll be getting a refund.

The most crappy site don't do it

Getting a hold of someone is impossible. Resetting your password takes at least a whole day and you'll miss on a good flight before you can log back in. You may never speak to someone. Rebooking is a pain. Don't use them. Spend an extra 50-100 somewhere else. It'll be worth it. Their fees are too high anyways. I hope they crumble. They shouldn't be able to serve the public and not be accessible. It's their duty to respond and help their patrons. They're completely gone. No where to be found but they're taking our money.

False pretenses

I have used Travelocity for several years. Last year I booked a hotel through them in New Orleans for spring break next week. I received an email from them yesterday canceling my hotel because they are closed. I called the hotel and they have been closed since a year ago due to COVID and won’t likely reopen until April or May. Travelocity accepted my reservation and gave me false information and then waited until one week before we were supposed to leave and cancelled our hotel leaving us with no where to go! I tried calling them and they WILL NOT answer your phone calls. I was on hold for over two hours and ended up hanging up. Never. I will never use their services again.
